HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Madera Run Parkway in Atascocita plays an important role in people’s daily commutes as they travel to and from nearby neighborhoods, Humble ISD schools, and businesses. Now this stretch of roadway is receiving an upgrade as Precinct 3 Commissioner Tom Ramsey’s office partners with HC MUD 504 to build the remaining two lanes of pavement to complete the four-lane boulevard from Radura Road to Hickory Arroyo Drive.
“We’re excited to partner with HC MUD 504 to bring this project into construction for improved transportation safety and increased capacity along this well-traveled stretch of roadway,” said Commissioner Tom Ramsey, P.E.
As standard for all Precinct 3 roadway widening projects, this project includes a beautified median with greenery, which will also serve to prevent head-on collisions. As construction proceeds, nearby sidewalks will remain open, and travelers will experience very little disruption to their daily commute as construction proceeds.
The Madera Run Parkway project is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2024. Precise Services, Inc. is the construction contractor. This project is jointly funded between Precinct 3 and HC MUD 504 at a cost of $940,000.
